2006 Ford C-MAX headlights dim

Car: Ford C-MAX
Year: 2006
Variant: 2.0 Automatic
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
My headlights seem very dim . They are correctly adjusted according to MOT and I have changed the bulbs. They are so bad that at night it is almost light driving with sidelights only.
Has anyone any suggestions?

Check the height yourself by lining up on a wall or fence as the beam direction could be out but still within m.o.t standards.check voltage supply to bulbs is correct and correct bulbs fitted, normally.do you have adjustment inside car you could alter this to best position.
