Hi does anyone have any tips on making a noisy Fan quiet,rather than changing it. It happens when the fan kicks in to cool the engine, it makes a very loud whirring noise,very embarrissing!!

you could try spraying wd40 onto it but failing that you will have to replace the fan for a new one

Thanks Thomkas,I have already tried the wd40 and no joy,will give it another blast you never know!! Was hoping there was a cheaper way than a new fan. Many thanks Paul..........
