1998 Fiat Punto engine flooing

Car: Fiat Punto
Year: 1998
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Firstly I changed the front section of exhaust as it was blowing. Then the head gasket went and the thermastate both at the same time. I have replaced both of these but in doing so i broke the hose that leads from the air filter to the back of the throtle body. i have not replaced this as yet. As the engine was apart I also changed the air and oil filter and put a new set of plugs in. The car ran much better after all of that but last night as i was driving the engine just cut out. It would restart but sounded realy rough as if it was only running on 2 cylinders and had no power. Taking off the air filter the throtle body was full of fuel. The engine was flooding what could be the cause.

You dont say what engine in car . It could be many things i.e ignition coil, leads , cyl . compression etc. etc .You will have to go back to basics , clean and dry plugs then see if your getting spark on all cyls .
