basically, i got the car on tuesday...at the time it was not making these noises until yesterday. whenever i take my foot off the accelerator the car is making banging noises under the car around the feet area of the drivers side of the car.
when placing my foot on the accelerator or brake the noise stops.
also the steering shakes a little

could be exhaust mounting problem or suspension fault i would have the front suspension checked for safety

Could be many possible causes, exhaust hitting floor , engine mountings , worn suspension bushes / arms, wheel bearings etc . etc .Would advise getting it jacked up and checked over asap to be safe .
