2000 Fiat Punto overheating, water coming out of exhaust, sluggish

i have water coming out of the exhaust with over heating engine. when i get into gear the car is very sluggish then aqfter a few seconds pulls away as normal until i change gear again.

sounds like headgasket gone to me mate...

as above answer i would suspect the head gasket
