2001 Fiat Punto battery drainage

Car: Fiat Punto
Year: 2001
Variant: auto
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
The battery is new. The fuses have been checked, and a faulty connection sorted out. However the battery still loses about 0.05 volts per hour. This problem has existed for about 3 years, yet only in the colder months- when warm the car has always started first time. Any ideas what the problem could be?
