I had been driving my car for 5 minutes and noticed the temp gauge was half way up, and rising very fast. When I pulled over I checked the water and it was an orange red colour, but no oil in the water. Also I have no heater. Anyone got any idea's as I'm desperate? Thanks peeps!

Please help if you can. I'm a woman with no idea where to start looking. I do think it might be the head gasket, but any advice would be great.

Got one of these to look at on saturday and from what you describe it does sound like a classic fiat head gasket blown.There a nice straight forward job to do and not too pricey when compared to some other cars. Should cost around 250.00 to have done.
