I have a Fiat Punto 1.9 jtd which was missed fuelled, the tank was emptied,new fuel filter installed filled tank with diesel. Now it will not start, it just turns over without starting

You have to do tank/pump/injectors/lines,everywhere the fuel goes,then prime with fresh correct fuel,
even then sometimes I find that easystart is needed just to gve it a starting chance.

does this mean new injectors or just clean them ?

Just probably needing bled through with the fresh fuel .

I was told it could be the fuel pump on the engine that is the problem,as it would have dried out with the petrol going through, If I put a second hand fuel pump on would I need to get it programmed ?
