2004 Citroen Xsara Picasso clonking/ rumbling from under car

Car: Citroen Xsara Picasso
Year: 2004
Variant: 2.0hdi diesel manual
usually when moving off from stand still and turning at the same time slowly, I get this clonking as if something is loose but I`ve had 3 garages look at it and cant find anything loose. then when driving along the motorway a rumbling can be heard but not all the time. Anyone with any ideas?

ive got the same sounds and ive replaced all the obvious bits around the wheels, such as track rod ends an stabilising bars but when it went in for mot i asked what it could be and what ive replaced and was told the drop links were worn but doesnt affect the performance or handling , just a little noisy at times

Hi, this sounds like a problem I've had, been told it could be the front strut bearings and mounts. I've not had the work done yet so I'm not 100% sure this might be the solution but hopefully this helps, I'll repost after the work is carried out to verify if ti solves the problem.
