Guy at the garage firstly said the cam sensor was dirty so cleaned it, then changed it, then he said it could be a oil sensor so changed it now saying it could be oil pump so I'm unsure what the error code is as they didn't say, it's not been on a computer from a citroen garage though

He is only guessing and fitting different parts that have not fixed the fault , probably not needed and at your expense . His scanner may not be capable of retrieving stored fault codes that a Citroen dealership has that covers ALL systems / modules . You would probably have been better / cheaper going to the dealership in the first place or a least somewhere else that could eliminate guessing
