Citroen DS3 using key fob to open car ok. when locked by key fob alarm noise goes off few minutes later

When opening car with key fob ok. When locked with key fob sets alarm off few minutes later. Locked manually is OK. Why is this?

Tried re-syncing / reprogramming the key?

No idea on that car or why it should happen . Does car have interior sensor that can be disarmed ? check if bonnet alarm sensor as on some cars this can fail or water ingress
