May just be low battery levels causing shut down of none essential systems ,could try minimizing other electrical component use and see if that helps, other than that may need dealer software upgrade

Thank you, I'll look into both of these options.

This also keeps happening to mine and then yesterday morning my car wouldn't start and have had to jump start 3 times in the last 2 days and tonight it popped up with a box saying 'power steering fault' :( I need to get it serviced next week!!

You need to get your battery tested and either replaced if needed or charged . Also check alternator charging rate .

Did you find the solution to this?
Mine is doing the same.

This seems very similar to the issue we are getting in a C4 Cactus. Lots of people getting the same issue, a way to avoid it is to tune the DAB into anything except BBC. Try it and see what happens.

I had to take it to citroen to do a software/firmware update, they said the problem was the WiFi part of the software causing the problem. The update has removed WiFi and added Apple Car play. Didn't ask what solution would be if you need to keep WiFi as I don't use it.

Hi I’ve also been having the same issues for a couple of months. Absolutely drove me crazy. I found out it’s to do with the BBC radio channels (for me anyway). Try removing BBC channels from the presets, and make sure BBC isn’t on in the background when listening to USB or bluetooth.
