Ds and Citroen ds3 central console radio resetting itself..

Ds3 2017 diesel in the last few weeks (since mot, maybe total coinsidence) but every few minutes the radio central console will reset itself. Strange thing is a friends 65 reg ds3 is now doing exactly the same thing... Any ideas..

I have seen this occur in various makes when the car battery is low . Often cured on some cars when battery charged or battery replaced if needed . Has happened more often due to lack of car use by many . But other possible causes .
