My car has recently started beeping. One prolonged beep at regular (but not frequent) intervals. No message appears on the dash. It's very frustrating, everything seems to be working fine.

Best guess would be getting it plugged into Citroen diagnostics.
And I state Citroens own system because others can be a little miss leading.
