Wrong ECU for my car

Problem started with the esp/asr light coming on and no power steering. Had the AA oyt and they have told me that the ECU isn't the one for my car.
What do I do or how do I get it fixed?

Get a Lexia scan done at Citroen or an indi specialist to confirm.
I doubt the AA had Citroen diagnostics,
and no mater what system they used to access the ECU these are notorious for being difficult to get reliable scan results using anything except the dealer level Lexia system.
I had a £5000 Snap On scan tool on loan with a view to buy.
And the first car I tried it on the results were ............
Well I didn't but it.
I do too many French vehicle to have unreliable scan results.
