2013 Citroen C4 problem with gearbox

Hello, last month I bought C4 Picasso 2013 (68kW, 1.6HDi) from private seller. Car worked good, but now sometimes when I start the engine, goes to fault "Parking brake fault: Have the vehicle repaired" and "Gearbox fault: Have the vehicle repaired". Then I switched off the engine and put out the + from the batery (restart the car) and than works car normally approx. 1 week and then it's all again. I was to the mechanic, he told: C4 picasso had a problem with connector on the robot.gearbox, I clean it and will works. But It's still same, when he did it. All another parts working good and the gearbox (when I restart the car) working good too. It's a randomly fault.
Can you help me with this problem? How I can solve it? Maybe it's a problem with robot unit for the gearbox?

Not good , may be the reason it was sold . A lot of possible faults , needs scanning for codes .

Mine was the handbrake switch .. kept doing same thing .. new switch from eBay .. you tube video .. all fixed

did you have the same problem as me? When yes, I'll try change the handbrake switch.

Can see where the brake switch may fix the "Parking brake fault: Have the vehicle repaired" but not the gearbox fault

hi, just had exact same issue on automatic C4, tried to start with button, starter motor attempted then gave up, came up with errors on electronic brake and gearbox. Suspect the brake is fixed on, as the foot brake you press to start feels solid, usually a bit of give. Tried detaching battery but didn't work. Did you sort yours? I'll call garage tomorrow, but always nice to find a quick fix as it's usually the case with these car systems

Sure your battery is not flat ? Tried a jump start ?

I was with good automechanic and he told, that is a cables and conectors from ECU to gearbox controller, I'll must exchange it and he told then will be working. I'll go there in Monday, I'll tell you the result.
