2011 Citroen C4 control screen and panel not functioning

control screen won't light. Just the Citroen sign lit up on the screen and none of the knobs on the panel work either. Everything else OK, but obviously no ac or satnav etc

Common fault nowadays with screens failing , often requiring a new unit . But some reports of having success by disconnecting a battery terminal for a minute or so which reboots system and repairs faults . A low car battery is another suggestion from some sources .
