Stop/Start Function.

When try to depress clutch to re-start car nothing happens and car doesn't re-start. Have to start with key. Also engine fault light has come on dashboard saying needs to be taken to garage to be repaired. Garage say problem with battery on car - what can this be?

As said by garage , a very common cause is a low battery . May just need a charge or worse scenario , replaced
