My 2007 c4 will start when engine is cold but after driving awhile and shutting it off it won't start again until cools down. Any clues as to what is going on? New battery and crank shaft sensor.

I just get clicks when I try to start the car after it reaches running temperature and turn it off. Will not start until it cools down.

Could check battery terminals and ant earth cable from engine / gearbox to bodywork but could also be a faulty starter motor
