Cruise control not working

Hi, my cruise control isn't working it comes up on the dash but doesn't allow me to set the speed, also my gear notification has stopped working as well not sure if there connected.

There are usually a couple of switches up at brake and clutch pedals that can fail . Check the brake lights are working o.k
