2013 Citroen C4 worn start / stop button?

I am having to press quite hard and then hold for a good few seconds the start / stop button in order to either start the car or to switch it off. I am guessing that the button is maybe worn out and was thinking of ordering a new one to replace it.
However, is this a case of just swapping out old for new or is there any reprogramming to do before the new button will work?

Never replaced any so far but would think just straight forward swap over
