2008 Citroen C4 auto gears don’t auto shift up when accelerating quickly

Whenever I accelerate quickly my auto gearbox refuses to change up gear. The only way to get it to change is to use the gear paddles. On the other hand if I accelerate slowly it changes up gear straight away . What is the problem please ? Transmission fluid has been replaced but no change in the situation.

Could be electrical , external or a fault inside . The only way you will find out is if you get it scanned for fault codes with suitable equipment

Have a nonda ZUS plug in scart connector. Maybe that will give me the answer

Might , worth a try but some scanners can not access certain modules

Under heavy acceleration the gearbox will only change up if the driver operates the gear lever or the controls on the steering wheel. Page 21 C4 handbook 2011
