2016 Citroen C4 brakes very sharp at low speed

Heard this complaint on the brakes of that car for a number of years , dont know if it is an actual fault as such or what the solution is . I have had it before on other cars , but it always quickly cleared after applying brakes a few times .

Perhaps it might help if the discs and pads were deglazed thoroughly / brake grease lightly applied and refitted.
I to have experienced this issue but most of my customers seem to have adapted their driving technique to be oblivious to it.

Plenty of confirmation of this " characteristic " on that car , Just one example of many . " adapted their driving technique to be oblivious to it." Hard or impossible to do as the many owners who complained of being thrown forward by the fierce braking .

Is the Citroen C3 known for having sharp brakes?
A year ago we purchased a Citroen C3 Rhythm 1.4 petrol. It was first registered in July 2008 and has now done 20,000 miles. On three occasions we have queried with the dealership the sharpness of the brakes. I know it is a light car, but the brakes are so fierce and with so little progressive effect, that it almost feels like an emergency stop, despite great care being taken to brake smoothly. The reply after having been checked each time is that it is normal. Are you aware of a problem on this model, as I have recently driven the new Airdream C3 and the brakes are much smoother and more progressive?
