Many thanks for your suggestion. I will try it to see if there is a problem there. I have had problems there since buying the car new. Need I mention Stop and Start?

I despise stop/ start and it's the first thing I switch off in cars . Stop / start , if used , is also affected by a low battery . With you having replaced the battery I would t load test the alternator just to make sure it was coping and charging correctly .Simple 2 min test with voltmeter and safe guards the battery .

Thank you for your reply. Testing the alternator seems a good idea. The stop/start has rarely worked since new. Citroen has denied any problem re the capability of battery and alternator.
