Sounds like clutch bearing / pressure plate / assembly gone or DMF ( dual mass flywheel ) . If that , expensive repair and gearbox removal to repair . Other possible cause if going into gear o.k but not driving is a broken driveshaft . Any decent mechanic will know in mins on checking .
