2010 Citroen C4 car cutting out whilst driving

The car is automatic and when I press accelerator to speed up the car loses all power , engine light comes on , and car stops and won't restart. This has happened 4 times in 2 months . I have noticed that the car isn't changing gear as good as it used to recently. The same code up every time which is p1586. I had a service done and since then the problems started.
