2011 Citroen C4 running rough

Started the car this morning , seemed to be running lumpy , struggled to get it to go up a hill , seems to be in limp mode , Esp / Asr light on , on dash , also amber engine management light on , fill it with fuel at Tesco yesterday , wondering wether this could a reason as i once had a petrol car do this years ago because of a dodgy batch of fuel?

Anythings possible , but you really need to carry out a diagnostic scan and see what codes have triggered the engine management light and causing it to go into limp mode

You could try changing fuel filter first and see if that solves some problems , without getting too deep into it .
