2006 Citroen C4 dash display warning lights

The orange " service " light comes on for a few seconds after some journeys then goes off.
Also, on display between Trip Mileage and fuel left miles is a symbol like a fuel gauge/clock face (single hand pointing to 10 )
to the side of it , it says off

Any idea what this is ? my usual mechanic couldn't help
