hi i have a citreon c4 the front passenger door wont open and when the drivers door is opened the boot opens strange appreciate some advice

A common problem is for the wires to be frayed/broken where they pass through into tailgate , also micro switch on lock .Does the door not open from inside ?If not you will have to pull trim off and check wiring / power to lock and lock linkage .
