While driving the the engine cut out,the car will now not start,the dash lights sometimes come on and the ignition sometimes tries to start but to no evail,RAC said maybe a bad earth or broken wire.I have been having problems with the boot releasing when opening and closing doors.

you need a fully charged battery to start with make sure battery leads are clean and makeing good contact check the main earth lead check earth point on top of gearbox for loose or bad connections also make a visual check of wireing under the bonnet also check fuse box for bad connections let us know how you get on
