2008 Citroen C4 1.car locks itself while drivingl!! 2.fault warning

1. The car locks itself while driving. If I then cancel the lock it then re-locks when making left turn .
2. On ignition a fault warning comes up on display . Automatic.......Fault" . Too quick to read it all. Where can I find list of such faults and what they mean?

Have you just got the car ? Some cars nowadays have " anti hi jack " locks which lock when the car reaches a certain speed i.e 5 / 10 mph .If the warning is only when ignition turned on and goes out on start up , probably o.k .The locks are normally programmable ( you can switch setting off )

Thank you Wittinghame . You were right regarding the system that locks as we increase speed. We had never used it and must have activated it by mistake.

Regarding the fault warning - reading a previous question raised on this list of c4 problems
I am now sure what comes up is " Antitheft fault " and it appears together with slow starting .
Does anyone have any experience with this?
