Rear View Mirrors
2008 Citroen C4 Gran Picasso

The rear view mirrors used to open out when car was unlocked with the remote control and close again when locking the car with the same. Now they do not respond at all.The doors unlock and lock as normal and the light below the mirror also illuminate when locking or unlocking is activated. Any suggestions welcome

Replies and fixes

I found that the wiring to the mirror autmatic closing and opening was not seated correctly. I found I could still adjust the position of the mirrors by the controls on drivers side but not the closure mechanism after removing this section 2 wires were not seated firmly enough. Either vibration or never seated properly in the first place.
