2005 Citroen C4 seat belt/air bag fault light

I am getting a warning light on my car that there is a fault with the seat belt/air bag system. The ECU has been read and it is coming up with a fault code E691; Right-hand side airbag and right-hand side curtain airbag in series ignition modules fault : Open circuit.
What I would like to know is anybody's idea's on where to go from here in diagnosing and fixing this problem?

I had an MOT in august, and the airbag light was on.
The tester said not to worry as the littli copper wire in there can corrode leading to a fault showing. However i am in no position to be considered an expert, just passing on what i was told.
