Poor running from cold

when pulling away from cold engine drops onto 3 cylinders coughs then runs normal dealership says all parameters are correct a temp sensor was replaced at 50 miles car has now covered 1200 miles

If temp coolant sensor cured the fault at 50 mls and it's returned , change sensor again and see if it fixes it ?

sorry for the confusion the temp sensor was replaced due to a engine overheating warning signal on dash

Does that one not also send signal to ECU re . fuel engine requires , or is it a different one ? I could be completely wrong as it varies from car to car .Some are a combined unit .It sends signal to ECU that it needs more fuel when cold ( like old choke ) then leans mixture out as it warms up .

i would suggest a reset of autoadaptives but the dealer would have to do this.
