the radio is the factory fitted clarion no signal for radio stations local or national when searching for stations the dx mode appears instead of Lo (local)

maybe a faulty radio! maybe that the aerial has come loose located at the rear of the radio set itself! Try removing the radio unit from the dash & seeing if the aerial is actually connected! If it is then it's definately a faulty radio!
