Power steering heavy & speedometer staying @ 0

check all fuses but suspect you may have an abs fault.

I have had the same problem, try turning the ignition on and off three times (do not start the car) within ten seconds and then start the car, worked for me.

My wifes car had the same problem a few months back - I tok it to the main dealer and they said they did a diagnostic test , loaded updarted software and charged us £95 for the pleasure. It has gone back to Zero again and the fuel and abs light flashing and i saw somewhere on the internet just to detatch the battery for a few minutes and then reconnect. Just done it and it works!

very common on these you nee to locate the wires to the speedo find the earth,
and give it a extra earth ,,
this fixes power steering faults aswell ..very common

my car has been doing the same and have took it to the car garage a few times but they keep giving it bak to me saying its fine then it stops working again after a few hours or days, is there anything i need to do? they have replaced the battery too and still no dfference. also when im starting to slow down and go into a different gear it sometimes stops alltogether and have to turn it off and on again. are these problems linked?
