2004 Citroen C3 heater blower constantly on full power even if switch is off!

Car: Citroen C3
Year: 2004
Categories: Leaks & Noises
My heater blower is constantly ON at FULL power even though controller switch isn't on!

Fuse is fine, had to unplug unit to stop.

Is this something can fix at home or do I have to book into a garage?

the heater control rheostat has shorted out. have come across this fault a few times. locate and remove, and you will probably smell burnt plastics and copper.hope this helps!!! let me know!!!

dont know for sure, but it is most likely to be in or around the heater matrix or blower motor fan box under the dashbord. hope this helps!!!
