Hard to pinpoint the cause whether it is the motor , switch or relay . Scanning with Lexia may find the fault but wiper motors in general often fail after they are in use for a while .

how do i check the switch and the relay please

You would have to check when wipers failed by testing for power at Coms unit , Bsi and motor till fault found .
