Clutch wont work

2014 Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 HDI
Car: Citroen C3
Year: 2014
Variant: Picasso 1.6 HDI
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
For about a month have had an intermittent problem with clutch pedal not returning to normal resting position which made it difficult to change gear. Pedal could be pulled back up with foot and this seemed to cure the problem for a while. Today the pedal went right to the floor and would not return. Car is now stuck in gear. I have been told that there is a hydraulic clutch in these cars and that the brake fluid from the brake cylinder sevices the clutch as well. on checking brake fluid the level does seem to be very low. comments please.

Leak on hydraulic system will cause the problems you're having . Temp fix of filling and bleeding clutch system MIGHT work till leaking part replaced.
