2010 Citroen C3 wipers out of sequence

Variant: diesel
the washer control doesnt work. when switching to a single wipe the wipers stay on. I can get the washers to work while the wipers are operating. They wont park properly. Sounds a bit weird but its difficult to explain.

You will have to checkout circuit with a meter to see if it's a fault with the stalk and / or motor .
