Scrapping sound from front passenger side in low speed from standstill. No noise when over about 20mph. Brakes renewed and nothing wrong with them. Wheel bearing not getting hot. No sound when turning or braking. Noise on and off not all the time. Car running fine apart from this. 126,000 miles on clock.

Could be sticking brake pad , was Copperslip grease or equivalent used on contact points and pad back plate when renewed ?

Just had a Peugeot in with a brake fault,
Turned out that the little clips that secure the pads in the carrier.
Well one was distorted and every now and then the clip steel hit the disk resulting in a screech.
Worth a look.
