My car has gone in toi limp mode had diagnostics done and the guy says the problem is witgh thee engine. When you start it up after only 30 or so sec take the top of the water reservoir water comes flying out at some pressure water is not getting around the engine maybe because of the water pump not working or the thermostat Can anybody tell me if a water pump and stat of a similar age c3 diesel will fit on my petrol engine as I have one I could take it off to save some money

I don't think they are interchangeable.
