Central locking key not working

2008 Citroen C3 Manua don't know what . it is
Car: Citroen C3
Year: 2008
Variant: Manua don't know what . it is
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I was told by the garage that the key would work and lock doors without central locking whilst I was waiting for a replacement key. This does not happen I can only lock the drivers door the other doors remain unlocked. I am only able to drive the car and not park as it would invalidate my insurance. I am not able to use the child lock on the car only when I am driving. I am interested to know if this was a fault on this model.

has the fuse for the central locking been checked or has the shunt fuse blown

To lock the doors in the event of the remotes failing and you are unable to reprogramme them, open each door (except the one with the lock barrel on it), in the area of the door latch there should be a small black plastic screw head you can insert the key into to turn it (the screw may be hidden underneath a small black sticker approx. 1cm in diameter). Turn the screw on each door and close the door, it is now locked, to re-open it use the inside handle.
