Crazy warnings

Ever since I purchased the car a year ago the indicator sound hasn't worked. On the odd occasion that the sound does work the car starts giving random warnings on the display screen and the service light comes on for about five seconds. The warning is always that a light isn't working, sometimes fog lights, sometimes brake lights and sometimes indicator lights. The lights are all working, I have checked.

All of the other posts I have found online seem to talk about the warning happening when the indicator stalk is used, this isn't necessarily the case for me.

In other news, having the automatic lights set also causes all of the same problems.
