Went to start the car and it ticks over ok but when you apply acceleration pedal it just rumbles it doesn't cut out but just wont rev up

Could check the accelerator pedal position sensor .

I have now renewed the acceleration pedal, coil pack and throttle body but it is still not revving up when the throttle is applied it bumbles is there any chance it could be cam or crank shaft censor problems???
