Intermittent error fault notifications and wipers coming on by themselves

My C3 gives intermittent fault notices when there are no faults and bleeping sounds with the back and front wipers coming on by themselves or when something is touched on steering column. Uses all my water in bottle once topped up by coming on repeatedly.

Sometime the bleeping and wipers will stop going berserk when I just touch the indicator arm or something else.

I am told that replacing the BSI unit may not solve the problem I have one on order but now not sure what to do. Can you help please, many thanks.

If it goes haywire with a slight touch of the stalksmthen I say something has come loose in the stalk and shorting out.
I'd say its deffo the stalks or bsi control unit

I would check the under bonnet fuse box just to make sure there is no water in it.Get back if it does

I have the same problem with my C3 (2008) can somebody tell me the location of the BSI unit please I'd be happy to change that before I replace the stalk assembly.
