2005 Citroen C3 central locking interior light flashing

hi there, i have just noticed that when i lock my car the interior light on the center console flashes, is this normal as i have never noticed before, car is locked so safe though?

On some cars the light flashes showing that the system is armed but if it has just started , may be different on a Citroen and be indicating a fault .Could check owners handbook as it varies from car to car .

usually flash fast on arming then reduce when alarm is set but as above check in handbook
