Hi the abs light is staying on on my c3 i had the garage look at it and they said the abs pump/ modulator was faulty i bougt a second hand one because i could not afford a new one and hand it fitted by a moblie macanich the light was off when he left i took the car for a spin and the light come back on i have also had all the wheel baerings breakpads and the briver side hub changed any ideas what the problem is .

I had a similar thing happen on my Vectra and found it was the ABS Control Unit, so I bought a 2nd hand one from a scrap yard for about £40 and worked like a treat, I know it's expense, but you may have purchased a not so good one and may have to look for another.
