2007 Citroen C3 weather temp gage light flashing

Hi. I have noticed that the weather tem gave on my dashboard display is flashing... Is this normal? Thanks.

Yes I think it is normal. When the outside temp drops to a predetermind level (say 1 degree for example) it flashes to warn of ice.
