2003 Citroen C2 starts sometimes, won't on others!!!

Car: Citroen C2
Year: 2003
Variant: vtr
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hey,

Ok so my c2 vtr is having a few problems starting up! On a sunday evening I drive 100 miles from Crawley to Northampton for work no probs. Then friday after not driving the car all week I drive back, again no problems. I then do a short distance (around 20 miles) to go and pick my daughter up turn it off leave it for 10-15 minutes and then it fails to start. I have had the Battery checked at Citroen, Kwik fit and by the rac and they have all said that the it apperas to be fine!

It is really becoming annoying as I sometimes I'm not going out as worried about it not statring and having to find someone to give us a jump start. (Jumping it starts it straight away if thats any
help)

The car also needs you to put your foot on the brake to start, not sure if it could be effecting the vehicle start!

If anyone can put us on the right track I would be very grateful!

Thanks

Goldie

there is a electrical fault relating to the starting side of things take the car to the dealers and have them check out the starting system and switchs relating to starting and have the key checked aswell as there is sometimes a micro chip in the key that could be at fault
